Business Person Awards Criteria
The Wally World Business Person of the year award is awarded to the person
that achieves his corporate and management objectives blended with
personal and family happiness. He must not only have work ethic but must
be active in non business related areas. He must have the respect of his
employees, friends, competitors, and family. He is one that lives a
balanced life.

2003 Wally World Business Person of the Year
The 2003 Wally World Business person of the year is MICHAEL J. EGAN. Mike
has been an active member of the organization since 1982. He founded
Insystems Technologies Inc. and built the company over the last 30 years to
over 300 employees achieving sales of over 50 Million. The company was sold
in 2002 to Standard Registry who will combine their style of management with
that developed by Mike. Mike attended Richview Collegiate, plays annually
at the Worm Burner Classic Golf Tournament where he has won numerous golf
awards. Mike's personal activities include, scuba diving, skiing and
snowboarding, cross country biking, sailing, water skiing, ski diving, deep
sea fishing, driving his Harley Davidson customized Ultra Glide ( 100th
anniversary edition ), golfing, tennis, motocross and finally his most
recent activity playing POLO with the Toronto Polo Club where he is
categorized as a plus 1 category player after only 2 years of play. . Mike
has been an active and financial supporter to the Polo for Heart tournament,
the Nationals Junior Inline Hockey Club and Pickering College. The Egan
Family is active in Charity work through the Egan Foundation. He attributes
his success to his wife Beth, who is easily equal to him in energy and
commitment to personal life satisfaction. His son Jeff is currently working
at Whistler and their bid for the Olympics, Michelle who is a world
traveller representing the Egan Foundation and Insystems. His younger sons
Jonathan and Robbie attend Pickering College. Mike successfully balanced
family, work, play, and fun.
Congratulations to Mike who as the 2003 Wally World Business Person of the
Year will receive an expense paid trip to the NHL All Star Game, a 10 year
exclusive use for his family a residence in Naples Florida, automatic entry
to the 2003 Worm Burner Classic and expense paid trip for Beth and Mike to
the World Polo Classic in West Palm Beach.
2002 Wally World Business Person of the Year
The 2002 Wally World Business Person of the Year is John ( Jiovanni ) Cutruzzola. John has been an active member of the organization since 1987. John immigrated from Italy in 1967 and founded Inzola Construction Limited with his brothers Peter and Tony and built the company in Brampton and Toronto over the last 35 years to become one of the most respected commercial construction companies in Ontario. John has been an active supporter of the City of Brampton, he is tireless in his efforts to promote and build the city to be the desired place to live and work. In that role he is active in any support group that will enhance the reputation and growth of the City. He was a vital component to the construction of Brampton City Hall and redevelopment of the Downtown. He is an executive and avid supporter to the Art Council, Theatre, Downtown Redevelopment and is one of the most respected and trusted business men in Brampton. His passion for proper development and the arts is unprecedented. His passion and attention to detail on anything he builds is well known and recognized. His awards include being named Brampton business man of the year 1996. John is an acknowledged artist whose work is showcased at numerous functions, he is an active opera singer, enjoys making maple syrup, avid runner, sailor, and devote husband and father. His construction business partner Sam Cutruzzola and sons Peter and Anthony share and enhance his vision for excellence. John successfully balanced family, work, play, and fun.
